Our two vineyards cover an area of 0.60 hectares, exceptionally flat in a predominantly terraced area.
The grape varieties are typical of the zone: Albarola, Bosco, and Vermentino.

The wine we produce will be without a designation, as we do not want to be bound by the parameters set by regulations, to be free to produce the wine that we like, rather than what the market dictates.

Where it is produced

The wine is produced at the Pasquale Pelissero Winery, Barbaresco producers since 1921 in the heart of the Langhe region, in Piedmont.

Who produces it

Ornella Pelissero, daughter of Pasquale, the founder of the winery of the same name, oversees the entire production process, from winemaking to bottling.
With over 40 harvests of experience, Ornella Pelissero is the best guarantee of respect for quality and traditional taste.

Where can you buy our wines?

Our wines are sold exclusively at our store located just a few dozen meters from our two vineyards, in order to preserve their quality.

The soils of our crus are characterized by limited depth, with a coarse texture that has an acidic or sub-acidic reaction. Composed of marine sediments and turbidites, they are rich in skeleton and ensure exceptional drainage, which is essential to prevent standing water.

These pedological characteristics directly influence the agronomy and quality of the grapes (mainly Bosco, Albarola, and Vermentino) in several aspects:

Excellent drainage and rooting:

The high percentage of skeleton (stones and rock) and the loose texture allow the roots to penetrate deeply in search of moisture and minerals.

Controlled strong water stress: The shallow soil depth combined with the slope forces the vine to experience mild water deficits during the summer months, a factor that concentrates sugars and aromas in the berries.

Mineral profiles and flavor: The acidic soils and proximity to the sea impart a pronounced saltiness, freshness, and a characteristic mineral/iodine vein to the white wines.
